Designer Vanessa Alexander designed the interior for a family that likes to arrange noisy meetings with friends.
This house on Carbon Beach is not the only accommodation for Vanessa Alexander’s clients, but here they gather as a family and receive guests almost every weekend. So the doors of this house are almost always open, especially from the house they lead directly to the beach.
Vanessa Alexander updated the interiors of the house so that the owners could often relax in a large company. The first floor of the building was occupied by a large room combining a living room, a dining room, a small bar and a kitchen. It is not surprising that it has become the most favorite place in the house, at least from public spaces.
But due to the fact that the space performs at least four functions at once, according to the designer, it was quite difficult to solve the issues with zoning and furnishing. The center of the room was occupied by a soft area with low wide sofas and a large coffee table. Next to it is a chill zone by the fireplace, and to the left of it is a red wood bar cabinet with brass fittings. Opposite there is a dining area with a round table for six people, and at a distance from it there is already another table, a billiard room.
The biggest alteration touched the bathroom — a special pride of Vanessa. It was rebuilt from several small separated rooms into one large spa room. “And the view of the ocean and the beach from here is simply incredible”” the designer notes.
However, the most important thing is that at the same time the house remains a place for quiet evenings and moments when the whole family pulls away from the hustle and bustle around and adjusts to its own wave.
