The design of the space is designed to emphasize the connection between the past and the future.
Arch(e)type, the interdisciplinary architectural bureau of Daria Belyakova, has developed a design for the sales office of the multifunctional Lunar complex from Hutton Development.
According to the idea of the Arch(e)type bureau, the interior should remind future residents of the complex that the Lunar is located at the junction of the Soviet heritage and the progressive future. So, the past will be represented by details and materials of interior decoration, as well as elements of the Soviet heritage — the era when space exploration began.
A chamber intellectual club for future residents of the multifunctional complex is integrated into the office space. Office visitors will be able to try on special digital suits made in the Lunar style and referring to the theme of space (it will be possible to use the clothes of the future with the help of modern AR technologies).
The office will have a library consisting of a unique collection of books. Among them is a monograph volume by the contemporary Mexican architect Miguel Angel Aragones, dedicated to outstanding interiors and houses, a monograph that includes more than three hundred images of the artist Alex Katz, a cult figure of American art of the 1980s, and many others. To create a comfortable atmosphere for guests, a friend of the brand Vadim Lobas has developed author’s cocktails.
The interior of the sales office will be inspired by one of the three modules of the future complex — Module C. This is a premium building with 150 apartments finished by the Arch(e)type bureau. On the first two floors there will be shops and restaurants with cuisines of different countries and cultures. The facade of the house looks spectacular due to the large windows that separate each apartment into a separate cell and open a view of the green Gagarin district.
