Piada, a French chain of conceptual restaurants of healthy Italian cuisine, has been cooperating with the Spanish creative agency Masquespacio for a long time: in 2018, the studio developed the first restaurant of the chain in Lyon. The recently opened second restaurant of the chain continues the recognizable image, but develops it.

In order to beat the theme of Italian cuisine outside of Italy, the designers introduced images of elegant Italian bars into the interior: arches, columns, brass, elegant lamps. The abundance of green color and greenery emphasizes that this is an institution with the concept of healthy eating. To give the space a bright youth character, Masquespacio’s signature pastel colors appeared in the new restaurant — purple, blue, yellow, and the combination of wood and velvet gives the interiors some respectability and makes them warmer.
