Roman Letyaev graduated from the Moscow Art Institute in the mid-nineties, when a real construction boom began in Moscow, he began his career at Mosproject and continued it as the chief architect of the Leonardo Bureau, engaged in architectural and construction design. The zero years brought him experience in low-rise construction, creating interiors and designer furniture, as well as a number of awards: he became the winner of the Golden Section twice. The apartment in a modern premium complex, which Roman Letyaev designed for his old friends and like-minded people, betrays his main preferences: minimalistic design and wood in the interior.
The fireplace area in the living room is made to order according to the design of the author of the project in the company kovka_design. Niches made of black metal for the entire height of the room (about 3 m) with built-in lodgements are made for bio fireplaces, Glammfire (Flambis). On the wall is the work of Daria Dmitrieva.

Working with friends, as you know, is easy and difficult at the same time, but here, according to the architect, the relationship was built long ago and firmly: this is the fourth joint project. “Clients and at the same time my friends are intellectuals and travelers with a worldview close to me. Such people understand that professionals need to be trusted and perceive the novelty of non-standard solutions””
Upholstered living room area, Villeroy & Boch; carpet, Art de Vivre (kover.ru); on the wall is the work of Mikhail Kaban-Petrov from Smart Gallery.

Letyaev divided the apartment into two almost equal parts: public and private. They are connected by a common color scheme for all rooms, materials (wood and metal) and author’s objects designed specifically for this project.

The most spectacular is a wooden two-sided library-rack with a TV stand separating the living room from the entrance area. For the living room, the architect also came up with metal niches for bio fireplaces, which not only please the eye (you can look at the fire endlessly), but also make the door to the bathroom invisible.
