Eclectic in everything: in the foyer of the cinema’s Chamber Hall, the Gucci House playfully combines vintage oriental carpets, a Scottish cage, wallpaper with landscapes, and with them books and cocktails.

The oldest cinema in Moscow (and one of the oldest cinemas in the world) has been among the Gucci Places since 2021 – places that have become a source of inspiration for both the brand and the creative director of the House Alessandro Michele personally. Here, in the “Art”, last year Gucci celebrated its hundredth anniversary, in honor of this, the brand held a number of events, for example, presented a pop-up store Gucci 100 with a special collection. Now the warm cooperation continues: now the brand has updated the lobby of the library and the bar at the cinema Chamber Hall.

As in its collections, Gucci brings eclecticism to the interior of the space, in the lobby you can see a combination of many materials and prints: the walls of the library are decorated with wallpaper with landscapes and floral ornaments, the bar is highlighted by wooden panels, the space is complicated by layered oriental carpets and textiles in a Scottish cage. Coffee tables made of ebony and marble elegantly contrast with velvet armchairs and sofas in pastel colors.

The space seems homely, including because of the books themselves: the presented collection is borrowed from the Library named after N. A. Nekrasov. This feeling is intensified when you learn that the Gucci House also contributed to the library’s collection: Alessandro Michele presented Nekrasovka with a collection of his favorite books and a series of albums released in collaboration with famous artists and friends of the House. So in the cinema, visitors literally find themselves on a visit, where they are treated to cocktails and offered to discuss the last work they read.
